You can bring the furniture for reuse yourself, or arrange for it to be taken out

In Khmelnytskyi, citizens are urged to hand over unnecessary furniture, including beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs, and carpets, for refugees from communities affected by the war.

Furniture will be collected by the "Waste Management Center", and the public organization "Caritas Khmelnytskyi UGCC" will hand it over to people, reports "Smart Environment. Khmelnytskyi" on Facebook.

The message assured that all the collected items will go to those who need it the most.

Furniture for reuse can be brought to the Waste Management Center on your own at 7 Myru Ave. (municipal solid waste landfill). If this is not possible, you can contact the Central Office at phone number: +38 096 838 4476 to solve logistical problems.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Kyiv, the citizens will be able to dispose of unnecessary furniture for free, including broken and old chairs, cabinets, armchairs, etc. Such garbage belongs to construction waste and cannot be left in the yard, forest, or household waste container.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, Kharkiv residents can return unnecessary things to the ecohub for reuse, or pick up the things you need, as well as help other people with food through a foot bank.
