Damages are calculated only for soil contamination at the surveyed objects

In the Donetsk region, eco-inspectors calculated more than 34 million hryvnias in environmental damage from Russian shelling of four utility companies.

These buildings in Toretsk, Kostyantynivka and Siversk suffered significant destruction, which caused large-scale littering of the land with construction and other hazardous waste, the State Inspectorate reports on Facebook.

Eco-inspectors said that as a result of enemy shelling of the city of Kostyantynivka, the administrative buildings of the municipal utility company Komuntrans were damaged.

Also, in the city of Toretsk, the administrative buildings of the motor vehicle utility company Komunalnik and Toretskkomservice suffered significant damage. And in the Siversk community – the buildings of the Chasovoyarsk regional production management of the Donbass Water Company.

The message emphasized that such amount of damages was calculated only for soil contamination at the surveyed objects.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that eco-inspectors estimated 2.4 million hryvnias in damages from the fire of dry grass, which occurred due to the impact of ammunition and their fragments, in the Kutsurub territorial community of the Mykolaiv region.
