People's deputies will consider two bills and two letters from people's deputies

A video conference will be held on Wednesday, June 8 sitting of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Environmental Policy and Nature Management at 10:00.

People's deputies will consider the bill № 2207-1-d on waste management (second reading) in respect of which the Committee has been designated as the principal.

Among the bills to which the Committee must submit its proposals are №0154 of 25.05.2022, submitted by the President of Ukraine, on ratification of the Amendment and the Second Amendment to the Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context.

In addition, people's deputies will consider:

  • letter People's Deputy of Ukraine Olena Kryvoruchkina on the establishment of the Expert Council under the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Environmental Policy and Nature Management and its provisions;
  • letter of the People's Deputy of Ukraine Yulia Ovchynnikova concerning holding Committee hearings (online) on "The impact of hostilities on the environment in Ukraine and its restoration to the natural state."

Updated. On Wednesday, June 1, the committee meeting was rescheduled from June 2 to June 8 (at 12:00).

We will remind, Deputy Chairman of the EcoCommittee Alexander Marikovsky accused the people's deputy Anton Yatsenko in personal interest in delaying the adoption of the bill on waste №2207-1-d.
