The EcoCommittee will consider the draft law "On scrap metal"

The members of the ecocommittee have to consider 7 draft laws

On Monday, October 9, a meeting of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Environmental Policy and Nature Management will be held via video conference at 11:00 a.m.

EcoPolitic has prepared for its readers the agenda of the committee.

People's deputies should submit their proposals to:

  • Draft Law No. 9665 "On Amendments and Additions to the Criminal Code of Ukraine and the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses on Improving Liability for Offenses in the Field of Forest Use and Combating Illegal Trafficking of Wood";
  • Draft Law No. 9664 "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding Construction on Lands Occupied by Public Waterways" and Draft Law No. 9664-1 "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding Construction on Lands Occupied by Inland Waterways of Public Use" ;
  • Draft Law No. 9484 "On Amendments to Article 2 of the Law of Ukraine "On Scrap Metal";
  • draft law No. 9627 "About making changes to some legislative acts of Ukraine to attract investments for the purpose of rapid reconstruction of Ukraine ";
  • Draft Law No. 9545 "On Ensuring the Traceability of Aquatic Bioresources and/or Products Produced from Aquatic Bioresources";
  • Draft Law No. 9546 "On Amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses Regarding Establishing Liability in the Traceability of Aquatic Bioresources and/or Products From Them."

It will also be considered at the meeting of the eco-committee a letter from the Accounting Chamber regarding the Report on the results of the audit of the effectiveness of measures aimed at ensuring the availability and sustainable management of water resources and sanitation.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that the Cabinet of Ministers approved draft law No. 9484 "On Amendments to Article 2 of the Law of Ukraine "On Scrap Metal".
