Ukraine is creating an electric car with a quick battery replacement.

It is being developed by the Zaporizhzhia company Infocom LTD together with the Ukrainian charging station manufacturer UGV Chargers, according to the website INFOCOM Ltd.

It will be a class A car, which the developers call a "people's electric car".

The peculiarity of the electric car is that it will have removable cases for quick battery replacement. Spare cases will be stored in the trunk of the car.

Infocom LTD automates and develops unmanned robotic platforms. UGV Chargers is developing charging infrastructure for electric cars, as well as building its own network of charging stations. Its specialists also design and manufacture electric charging stations, develop software and mobile applications.

We will remind, in Ukraine buyers of electric models of cars can exempt from paying the fee to the Pension Fund. The relevant bill has already been registered in the Verkhovna Rada.

As EcoPolitika reported earlier, the European Parliament's Environment Committee in the framework of the Fit for 55 package supported the European Commission's proposal to ban on the sale and registration of gasoline and diesel cars from 2035.
