However, the share of new cars remained low

In June 2024, the fleet of Ukrainian motorists increased by almost 4.2 thousand cars with zero emissions. This figure is 35% higher than the same figure in 2023.

Such data was published by the portal "Ukravtoprom."

The main share of vehicles registered for the month on battery power supplies (BEV) was passenger cars – 4079 units. Of these new – 784 pieces, used – 3295 pieces.

The share of new electric vehicles did not change compared to last year and amounted to 19%.

Among 119 commercial electric vehicles, only 8 were new.

In general, for the first half of 2024, more than 24.4 thousand cars on battery power supplies passed the first registration in Ukraine. 20% of them are new electric cars and 80% are used.

In June, EcoPolitic reported that Ukrainians began to buy even more electric vehicles.
