In Ukraine the selection of applications for the ClimateLaunchpad is continued: how to participate

The best ideas will be selected to participate in a multi-day intensive boot camp

The deadline for applications from green startups for the ClimateLaunchpad competition has been extended to July 6.

Therefore, Ukrainian green startups have even more time to prepare and submit a quality application for participation in the competition, according to a press release from the competition.

It is noted that ClimateLaunchpad is the world's largest competition for environmental business projects. It enables startups to turn an idea on a napkin into a working business, to express themselves in the global arena and get a powerful impetus to develop their startup.

Startups with developments in the following areas can take part:

  • Sustainable Mobility - business ideas that catalyze the transition to mobility using clean energy.
  • Circular Economies - projects based on the principles of recovery and rational use of resources.
  • Urban Solutions is a solution for communities that transform urban environments into decarbonized ecological spaces.
  • Clean Energy - energy storage, smart grids, integration of energy sources, capture and reduction of CO2 emissions, energy efficiency.
  • Food Systems - projects that promote the transition to climate-friendly food production.
  • Adaptation & Resilience - products or services that promote responsiveness and resilience to climate.
  • Blue Economy - ideas that benefit the economy and society without harming the oceans and coastal areas (tourism, shipping, energy and minerals, fisheries and aquaculture, etc.).
  • The Next Big Thing - innovations with the potential for global climate impact.

The best ideas will be selected to participate in a several-day intensive boot camp to prepare for the national final.

The winners of the Ukrainian national final will present their ideas at the regional and global finals of the competition. The strongest startups will receive a cash prize of up to 10,000 euros! And the 16 best teams in the semifinals will get to the ClimateLaunchpad accelerator.
