In the Poltava region, in the city of Horishni Plavny, a poacher who caught fish and crayfish worth more than 4 million hryvnias on the Kamenskoe reservoir was found.

A local fisherman used a metal boat with an engine, misin nets and crayfish, reports State Environmental Inspectorate on Telegram.

Violations were revealed by environmental inspectors of the Central District during the implementation of control measures together with employees of the water policing sector of the Kremenchug region.

A protocol on administrative offenses was drawn up against the poacher, because he grossly violated paragraph 3.15 of the "Regulations for amateur and sport fishing."

"The case materials have been sent to law enforcement agencies to open criminal proceedings," the report said.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in the Kirovograd region, two poachers, who with misin nets caught more than 2 million fish hryvnia in the restricted area of ​​the Kremenchug hydroelectric power station, were caught.
