There is a need for a large number of used electronic cigarettes

In Lutsk, the Clean Lutsk Waste Management Center has begun accepting used e-cigarettes (vapes or "disposables"), the batteries of which are used to produce power banks and flashlights for the military.

"Thus, by handing over this type of waste to us, it will not be thrown into the general trash, but later decompose in a landfill for years," the message reads.

Pavlo Berezyuk, a public relations specialist at the center, said that volunteers make power banks, trench flashlights and other things necessary for the military on the basis of batteries from such vapes, reports Society. "Disposables" can be brought to the central office at the address: str. Trunkina, 7 (Dubnivskyi microdistrict) every day from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
