A construction waste dump has been set up on the coast of Kyiv in the Tyahle Lake landscape reserve.

Law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings over the incident following an appeal from environmentalists, the Kyiv Ecological and Cultural Center (KECC) public organization reports on Facebook.

It is noted that environmentalists discovered the violation at the end of 2023 and appealed to the prosecutor's office.

"At the end of 2023, the developers began to cover the shore of the Tyagle Lake landscape reserve with construction debris for the construction of the road," the report says.

Netizens in the discussion of the post reacted positively to the actions of the prosecutor's office.
