Inspections of water recreation areas in the Stryi district are still ongoing

In the Lviv region, only 12 reservoirs were named safe for swimming, the rest cannot be bathed.

It  was reported by press service LOVA on Friday, June 17.

It is noted that during the first half of June, water bodies were surveyed in the Lviv region to determine their safety, as the bathing season can begin only when it is known exactly where to swim safely.

In all, rescuers inspected 23 beaches at 17 water bodies. So far, inspections of water recreation areas in the Stryi district are underway, and this work has been completed in the rest of the region.

"From 23 places of mass recreation, specialists of the Central Diving and Rescue Service in Lviv region inspected the underwater waters of the beach at 20 sites. The other three sites will not receive vacationers this year. Another facility was not ready during the inspection after all rescuers found shortcomings ", - it is told in the message of LOVA.

12 beaches on 12 reservoirs were named ready for safe bathing of vacationers, namely:

  • Bryukhovychi village is a beach on the lake, located on the Kurortna street, and the beach on the lake, located on the Lvivska street.;
  • village Volia Hamuletska - recreation center "Albatross";
  • village Modrychi - recreation center "Cossack Farm";
  • Morshyn - a beach on a city lake;
  • Zolochiv - beach on the city lake;
  • Peremyshlyany - a beach on a city lake;
  • Davidov community - recreation center "Lviv Switzerland";
  • village Old Village - recreation center "Bay of the Vikings";
  • village Korosno - recreation center "Guest House";
  • village Pidberitsi - recreation complex "Palmyra Resort";
  • Yavoriv district is a beach on the recreational water of Yavoriv National Natural Park.

As reported EcoPolitics before, inspect water bodies local authorities and local self-government bodies in Lviv oblast were involved in their security with the involvement of representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the region.
