In the Kyiv region, in the city of Vyshhorod, eco-inspectors discovered an unauthorized landfill of solid household waste on the territory of the Management Company.
They recorded the leakage of an unknown substance into the adjacent territory, which leads to the probable contamination of the land plot, the State Inspectorate of the Capital District reports on Facebook.
Violations were discovered thanks to the appeal of a citizen and the head of the Public Council at the Vyshhorod regional administration.
At the landfill, polyethylene, plastic, PET bottle, rag, paper, packaging container, wood waste are mixed with organic waste.
Eco-inspectors measured the area of the contaminated land and took soil samples. The samples were delivered for measurements to the department of instrumental and laboratory control of the DEI.
"On this fact, the law enforcement agencies were informed and a statement was submitted to the Vyshgorod RUP of the GUNP in the Kyiv region", notes in the material.
