City Council liquidated the landfill in full, in particular with the use of special equipment

In Zhytomyr, a landfill was liquidated, thanks to a report on "Hot line" of a concerned citizen.

The landfill was located on Zhuyka Street Royal district, according to the SEI of Polissya district on Facebook.

In order to eliminate the unauthorized landfill, the SEI specialists sent a Request to the Zhytomyr City Council, the implementation of which was under the control of the Inspectorate.

At the end of May The Executive Committee of the City Council reported on the liquidation of the landfill in full, in particular with the use of special equipment.

Environmental inspectors thanked all citizens who independently identify and report cases of violations of environmental legislation.

"Only by joint efforts will we make our city cleaner," the SEI said.
