Violations discovered during an unscheduled inspection in October 2021

In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, the economic court forced "AL-PRUT" LLC, which produces fruit and vegetable juices, to pay more than 259,000 hryvnias for environmental damage.

The enterprise arbitrarily seized the land and littered it, the State Environmental Inspectorate of the Carpathian District reports on its Facebook page.

Environmental inspectors discovered violations during an unscheduled inspection in October 2021. They calculated the damage for violation of the requirements of environmental legislation in the field of protection and use of land for a total of UAH 259,234.85.

The material noted that "AL-PRUT" will pay UAH 134,643.34 for unauthorized occupation of the land plot and UAH 124,591.51 for clogging this area with production waste.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in the first half of 2022 in Ukraine, violators of environmental requirements caused damage to the environment by a total amount of 742.7 million hryvnia. There are 152 criminal proceedings opened.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, from 20 to 26 June 2022 violators of environmental legislation paid into the state budget over 1.4 million hryvnias fine, and also calculated losses in the amount of more than 3.4 million hryvnia.
