CAAC to Release 14th Five-Year Development Plan and Specialized Green Development Plan for Green and Low Carbon Development

The Chinese Civil Aviation Authority (CAAC) said the country's civil aviation industry would promote a green transition to ensure the sustainable development of the industry.

Reducing carbon emissions will be through low-carbon energy and cleaner emissions, according to Daili Thimes.

The SAAS noted that the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) is key to the transition of the civil aviation industry from energy saving and emission reduction to green and low-carbon development.

The Civil Aviation Authority will issue the 14th Five-Year Development Plan and a specialized green development plan to promote green and low-carbon development in the industry for the period 2021-2025.

We will remind, Chinese investment is an important part of an institutional or retail investment portfolio for environmental opportunities and opportunities for decarbonization.

As EcoPolitics reported earlier, China's largest petrochemical corporation Sinopec has built the first project in China that will to capture 1 million tons of carbon per year for disposal or storage. The project will allow the use of carbon dioxide generated as a result of production activities in other technological processes or its storage.
