Ukrainian entrepreneurs will be able to register the installation in the Unified register for monitoring, reporting and verification of greenhouse gas emissions online on the single platform "EkoSistema".
Currently, the service is in test mode and allows you to complete the procedure in 10 minutes instead of 10 working days, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources reports on Facebook.
It is noted that from now on, entrepreneurs can independently register the installation, correct data or cancel registration in peopleless mode, that is, without the intervention of officials.
The press service emphasized that this format has a number of advantages, in particular:
- makes it impossible to make technical mistakes;
- verifies business entities in the Unified Register;
- minimizes the input of data that is already in "EkoSystem";
- excludes corruption risks;
- make it impossible to forge documents;
- creates a complete electronic register of combustion plants exceeding 20 MW.
The message explained that the register of combustion plants will allow analyzing information and making effective management decisions in the field of monitoring, reporting and verification of greenhouse gas emissions.
It is noted that currently 482 installations are registered in the Unified Register for Monitoring, Reporting and Verification of Greenhouse Gas Emissions.
"Today, 11 out of 29 services are available on the single ecological platform of the Ministry of Environment, EcoSystem, and 13 new environmental information registers have been opened," said the Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, Ruslan Strilets. – By the end of 2024, we have an ambitious goal - to collect all administrative services and environmental information on our "EcoSystem" service.
He added that he is proud of Ukraine's achievements in the digital sphere.
Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that the Cabinet of Ministers approved an experimental project on obtaining a certificate on determining the values of background concentrations of pollutants in atmospheric air online through the "EkoSistema" platform. This will reduce the term of the service from 30 days to zero.
As EcoPolitic previously reported, in 2023 the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources plans to launch 12 more services on the EcoSystem platform.
