Digitization remains one of the most important priorities of the Ministry of Environment

In 2023, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources plans to launch 12 more services on the EcoSystem platform.

In the online format, the electronic office of the entrepreneur will be available, as well as the issuance of a permit for special water use, air emissions, licenses for waste management according to the new rules, etc., the Ministry of Environment reports on Facebook.

In the message, it was noted that in January 2023 alone, the business received about 900 administrative services through EcoSystem, namely:

  • 717 submitted waste declarations;
  • 108 received references regarding the values of background concentrations;
  • 35 received conclusions on cross-border transportation of waste from the Green list.

The press service also named the main digital achievements of the Ministry of Environment in 2022:

  • 5 services are available in the peopless format, i.e. without official involvement at all;
  • launch of the EkoZagroza web resource;
  • launch of the DrovaE online store;
  • launch of the subsurface user's e-cabinet.

Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Serhiy Vlasenko emphasized that it is important for the Ministry of Environment that the state's interaction with business and the public be simple, easy and understandable. That is why digitization was and remains one of the most important priorities of the Ministry's work.

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, in Ukraine, 50 entrepreneurs received information about background concentrations of pollutants in atmospheric air online on the EcoSystem platform. They spent about 4 minutes to receive the administrative service, which was provided in paper format in 90 days.
