Krivoruchkina turned to colleagues from the European Parliament to get their application practice and rule-making experience

The authorities have studied the vision and proposal of Ukrainian business regarding the goals and objectives that should be implemented in the formation of a strategy for the "green" movement of the Ukrainian economy and recovery in the post-war period.

This was stated by the People's Deputy from the "Servant of the People" and a member of the Environmental Committee of the Verkhovna Rada Elena Krivoruchkina on his facebook page.

According to her, business representatives noted that similar initiatives have been implemented in the EU countries. There they ensure transparent relations between the state and business on the basis of "green" principles of the economy.

"We studied the strategic proposals and systematized them, outlining the priority goals and objectives in this direction," the people's deputy said.

She added that she recently sent a corresponding appeal to the European Parliament Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI Committee).

"I believe that Ukraine today does not have time to 'invent a wheel', so I turned to colleagues from the European Parliament to get their application practice and rule-making experience," she said.

The politician stressed that the government should adapt Ukrainian legislation to European norms and traditions as soon as possible. In her opinion, this will not only accelerate Ukraine's European integration, but will also make our country truly green.

Before EcoPolicy wrote that the leadership of the State Environmental Inspectorate with representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine discussed areas of work during martial law and the post-war period to avoid undue pressure on business.
