It is necessary to study the migration routes of animals and the security situation in the country to build ecoducts in Ukraine

In the world, in order to neutralize the impact on wildlife, specially equipped bridges or tunnels "ecoducts" are created, which protect against accidents on the roads and help animals safely and freely cross highways, railways, etc.

In Ukraine, there is not a single working ecoduct that would ensure a safe crossing for animals, reports Yourairtest on Facebook.

The construction of railways, highways, canals, power lines, pipelines and other large infrastructure facilities have a negative impact on wildlife, because massive structures create an artificial barrier in the ecosystem.

To build ecoducts in Ukraine, it is necessary to study the migration routes of animals, the security situation in the country. It is also necessary to assess the environmental impact of highway projects, taking into account eco-corridors.

Having studied these criteria, it will be possible to fix the mandatory construction of ecoducts at the legislative level in those places where it is needed.

“The most important thing that Ukraine needs now is to get rid of the occupiers as soon as possible and clear our land of russia. So that our people and animals can live in peace, and we will build eco-products there,” the eco-activists write.

Recall what is biodiversity, why it needs to be protected and how it is done in Ukraine.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, British environmentalists called for don't mow the lawn and explained why.
