In Rivne, the city commission began to inspect the area of ​​Budivelnykiv Street to identify the source of the unpleasant smell, in particular, the treatment facilities of Rivneoblvodokanal.

For several years, the townspeople have been complaining about the unpleasant smell that periodically arises in different neighborhoods, reports Rivne news.

It is noted that in the area of ​​the street The builders made additional pollution measurements, inspected the adjacent industrial zone. The commission will conduct an inspection of all industries located on the territory of the community, which can potentially pollute the air and be a source of unpleasant odors.

"In this way, it will be possible to identify the sources of air pollution and, together with ecologists, take the necessary measures so that the city does not suffer from stench in the future. Again, if the reason for this is precisely the enterprises located on the territory of Rivne," the article emphasized.

The authors added that the city government wants to create a similar regional commission. After all, a probable source of local pollution can be enterprises on the territory of neighboring communities, in particular Shpanivska.

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, in Rivne, the city council created a working group that will study every case of unpleasant odors and look for their causes, which the townspeople have been complaining about for several years.
