The owner of the waste could not be established

In Lviv, on the territory of the Lychakiv district administration, an unauthorized landfill of construction and household waste on an estimated area of 4,700 square meters was not removed.

Violations were discovered in July 2022 thanks to the appeal of a concerned citizen, reports the State Inspectorate in Lviv Oblast on Facebook.

Despite the requirement to liquidate the landfill, waste continues to accumulate on the outskirts of Trakt Glynyansky Street. In July, eco-inspectors sent a letter to the Lychakiv district administration to take response measures in accordance with the powers of local self-government bodies.

"During the resurvey of the territory, the storage of construction and household waste was confirmed on an approximate area of 4,700 square meters," the SEI noted.

It was not possible to establish the owner of the waste, but the facts of the violations were documented by police officers.

Earlier, EcoPolitic reported, that in the Kyiv region, in the city of Vyshhorod, eco-inspectors discovered a large-scale unauthorized landfill of solid household waste on the territory of KP "Management Company".

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, near the city of Sumy, along the road, eco-inspectors found 12 spontaneous dumpsters with a height of one and a half meters which contain large volumes of household, repair, construction and industrial waste.
