In Kyiv, in the Shevchenkivsky district, the first sorting capsule of a new model was opened, where you can sort waste into 25 positions according to the principle of self-service.

The station was built on the basis of a converted sea container near the "Forum" business center on the street. Pymonenko, 13, reports the "Ukraine without garbage" community on Facebook.

Ecoactivists emphasized that the capsule is the embodiment of a number of 5R principles of the zero waste concept. Also, the construction is a converted sea container, and the internal design uses material from recycled plastic.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that foamed polyethylene, which is often used for packing equipment and fragile items, has been accepted for processing in Kyiv.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, the world's first fandom for accepting Yapomogabox plastic bottles made of recycled plastic was installed in the Metro supermarket in Kyiv, Troeshchyna.
