The first wind turbine of the Ostrovsky wind park was launched in test mode in the mountain village of Nyzhni Vorota in Mukachevo region.

This was reported by Zakarpattya 24.

The wind turbine is installed on the border of Lviv and Zakarpattia regions. It is equipped with a 4.8 MW turbine, but the wind farm is currently operating in test mode with a capacity of 1.8 MW.
