The government also added to the list of types of products that will be subject to state market supervision

At its meeting on Tuesday, September 27, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the "Procedure for handling waste from the destruction of buildings and structures" resulting from damage caused by hostilities, acts of terrorism, sabotage or liquidation of their consequences.

The Government has also worked out a number of other energy and environmental issues, reports Energy under the dome on Telegram.

"Citizens, businesses, and local authorities need rules for handling waste from destruction. The adopted Procedure, which prescribes the decision-making algorithm of local government organizations on the management of waste from the destruction of buildings and structures, will help communities to restore their territories qualitatively and quickly," commented the Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov, reports Government portal.

The draft resolution proposes:

  • define the concept of "demolition waste", the classification of such waste, the main operations of dealing with demolition waste and the order in which they are carried out, as well as the main provisions regarding the organization of places for temporary storage of demolition waste;
  • establish a List of components of waste from destruction and possible ways of their reuse in construction, construction materials industry (production of construction products (products).

The Cabinet of Ministers also provided for the possibility of holding meetings of the commissions on technogenic and environmental safety and emergency situations in the mode of video conference. And also supplemented the Regulations on the State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine with a norm regarding the State Geosoil Department's calculation of the initial sale price at the auction of special permits for the use of subsoil.

In addition, the Government supplemented the list of types of products in respect of which state market surveillance bodies carry out state market surveillance, namely:

  • room heaters;
  • combined heaters;
  • space heater kits;
  • temperature controller and solar installation;
  • local heaters;
  • professional refrigerators for storage;
  • ventilation units for residential premises;
  • solid fuel boilers;
  • solid fuel boiler sets;
  • additional heaters, temperature regulators and solar installations.

In the message, it was noted that the Cabinet of Ministers also supplemented the Procedure for crediting part of the excise tax on fuel produced in Ukraine and imported to the general fund of the relevant local self-government budgets.

In addition, changes were made to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, which supplemented the list of grounds for approving fixed volumes of natural gas for thermal energy producers who applied to the Ministry of Regions after 08/25/2022.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Ukraine, the Government adopted an order designed to create a network of 120 state electric charging stations.

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, the head of the Ministry of Environment, Ruslan Strilets, said that Lithuania would help Ukraine in reconstruction of buildings destroyed by the war and other destruction waste.
