  • 1988–1990 — instructor of the propaganda and agitation department of the Zhovtnevy RV of the Communist Party of Mariupol, instructor of the propaganda and agitation department of the Mariupol Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine;
  • 1990–1996 — director of "Format" PO, Mariupol;
  • 1997–2013 — head of the press service of Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol;
  • 2013–2015 — worked in the public relations department of "Metinvest" LLC (Mariupol), was the head of the municipal development department;
  • 2015–2016 — head of the public relations department of "Metinvest" LLC (Mariupol);
  • Since 2016, he has been the regional development director of Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol.

Environmental activity

In April 2021, Magera criticized draft law No. 4167 "On prevention, reduction and control of industrial pollution" on the air of the Ukraina 24 TV channel. He noted that the transfer of European norms to the Ukrainian industry will lead to the shutdown of the coke industry, and the necessary investments of enterprises in modernization, in the amount of about €10 billion will be a burden for business.
