The region also operates 2 biogas plants with a total capacity of 1 MW, as well as 3 hydropower facilities

In the Rivne region, 998 households switched to green energy, including 32 during the period of full-scale invasion.

Since the beginning of 2022, 113 families have installed solar power plants for their own needs, it is reported Rivne Regional State Administration.

Vitaliy Koval, head of Rivne regional military administration, said that the total capacity of all stations in households is 27 MW.

Also, in the region, 7 non-domestic facilities with a total capacity of 3.5 MW produce clean energy with the help of solar power plants.

In addition, the region operates 2 biogas plants with a total capacity of 1 MW, as well as 3 hydropower facilities with a total capacity of 1.3 MW.

We will remind in the city of Rivne, the heat supply company "Rivneteploenergo" plans to transfer within 5-10 years all their boilers are on biomass. This will help reduce heat supply tariffs and contribute to the "green transition".

As previously reported by EcoPolitic, the family of Oleksandr Ananyev, a resident of the Kyiv region, and his fellow villagers the hybrid station helped to survive the russian occupation. He owns a home solar power plant with a capacity of 30 KW and a hybrid plant with a capacity of 10 KW.
