At this location, spontaneous landfills are formed systematically

In Dnipro, a spontaneous landfill has formed near the ATB supermarket at the containerized waste collection site at 174A Rabocha Street.

Photos and videos of the dump were posted on the Telegram community "Garbage behind ATB".

An old blanket and clothes, an information sign, a Christmas tree, bags and other trash were thrown into the dump. Probably due to the wind, the garbage also got into the flowerbed next to the site.

The message noted that the container yard does not meet state sanitary standards and regulations. After all, it does not have a fence and waste litters a large area.

"Why doesn't anyone control it when they don't complain?" – emphasized the activists.

It is worth noting that activists systematically highlight the problem of spontaneous landfills in the city, in particular near the "ATB" on Robochii Street. And also a more global problem in the waste management system in Dnipro.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in November, residents of Dnipro complained about the difficult situation with garbage removal and mass spontaneous landfills. Containers for waste collection are overflowing, and garbage is occupying new areas, in particular around playgrounds.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, in Kryvyi Rih, in the village of Rudnychne, during the course of a month, trucks delivered spoiled bread and bread that had not yet expired to a spontaneous landfill several times.
