Interested citizens are encouraged to join in the weaving of camouflage nets

Lviv volunteers called on Ukrainians to donate unwanted clothes and fabrics in shades of green, brown, gray and white for the production of spring camouflage nets.

Fabrics can be brought to any volunteer center, reports the public organization Zero Waste Lviv on Facebook.

The message explained that due to the change of season, the volunteers need raw materials of new shades and white fabric that can be dyed. Fabrics of blue, red, very bright colors, as well as those with sequins and reflective fabrics are not suitable for making camouflage nets.

It is noted that you can bring tissues to:

  • Lviv regional library for youth named after Roman Ivanychuk (Rynok Square, 9);
  • Church of Saints Volodymyr and Olga (Vasyl Symonenko St., 5), etc.

The authors also called on concerned citizens to join the weaving of camouflage nets.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that the residents of Lutsk were urged to give away unnecessary clothes, children's toys, shoes, etc. for reuse. Such things in good condition will be given by volunteers to people who need them, and the rest will become raw materials for bags, pillows and other crafts.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, residents and guests of Kyiv can donate their used tourist gas cylinders to help the defenders of Ukraine. Such cylinders can be taken to one of 200 special orange containers for hazardous waste, and specialists will refill them and hand them over to the military.
