The center is open every day from Monday to Sunday

Residents of Lutsk were urged to give away unnecessary clothes, children's toys, shoes, etc. for reuse.

Such things in good condition will be given by volunteers to people who need them, and the rest will become raw materials for bags, pillows and other products, reports the "Clean Lutsk" waste management center on Facebook.

The authors said that recently, the Center for Children's Hospitals donated a large number of clothes, children's toys, accessories and even a carpet to volunteers.

"In this way, we do several good things, help people, preserve the environment, give things a chance to last even longer," they emphasized.

They also emphasized that the world has been actively moving towards conscious consumption and exploitation of things for several years. For example, clothing production ranks second in the list of the most harmful and environmentally destructive industries, followed by oil production.

The report noted that many countries practice reuse.

"Through such actions, people help not only themselves, but also the environment, because what could have gone to the landfill will still serve for several years and, perhaps, bring a lot of joy," the authors emphasized.

Central Office works with Monday to Sunday from 07:00 to 20:00 at the address: Trunkina Street, 7 (entrance from Dubnivska Street), phone: 0972344680.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Lutsk they opened the first waste management center in the city (TsUV), where people will be able to sort their garbage into 14 fractions.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, Kharkiv residents can return unnecessary things to the ecohub for reuse, or pick up the things you need, as well as help other people with food through a foot bank.
