During the master class, there will be a raffle of three certificates for an individual lesson with a dog trainer

On Sunday, February 12, at 12:00 p.m., a free master class "Basics of Dog Training" will be held in Kyiv at the "Exhibition Center" temporary shelter for animals.

The class program includes theoretical and practical classes, as well as answers to participants' questions, the Kyiv City State Administration reports on Facebook.

It is noted that the hosts will be told and demonstrated:

  • how to correctly and effectively teach the animal to follow commands in various situations;
  • how to properly organize training and how to use various tools - such as treats, voice, various additional equipment.

The master class will be conducted by the canine specialist of the "Kyiv City Veterinary Medicine Hospital" Vladyslav Plakhtiy.

The announcement noted that during the master class, there will be a raffle of three certificates for an individual lesson with a dog trainer.

The authors also called for spreading information about animals from the shelter and, if desired, to take one of them under their care.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Kyiv during the Gift Market from the multi-brand platform "Vsi. "Our" three puppies from the Gostomel shelter found their new families. At the event, volunteers set up a corner for cats and dogs looking for a home.

As Ecopolitic previously reported, animal rights activists called on Ukrainians boycott petting zoos, because their inhabitants receive mental, and often physical, injuries from being kept in captivity in inappropriate conditions.
