On Saturday, April 16, specialists from the Ingulets Mining and Processing Plant (InGOK), which is part of the Metinvest group, planted grasses on the vertical slope of dump No. 1 from the side of Ingulets.

This green technology was used to fix the surface of the dump as part of the campaign for the Day of the Environment, informs press office enterprises.

As noted in the company, this technology has been tested by three years of experience. With it, you can not only fix the surface of the dump, but also make the technological object attractive.

A proven effective hydroseeding technique was used: grass seeds were mixed with liquid sludge and applied to the escarpment with a hydromonitor.

With this method, the plants take root well, grow and create a green "shield" on the surface of the dump.

For planting material, rapeseed and flax seeds were chosen.
