Eco-inspectors collected UAH 800,000 from violators and stopped the work of 2 enterprises

During the week, eco-inspectors calculated 818 thousand hryvnias of damage to the environment

In Ukraine, eco-inspectors collected 789.34 thousand hryvnia fines from violators of environmental legislation during the week, from January 13 to 19, voluntarily and forcibly.

They also achieved a court decision to limit (suspend) the activities of two enterprises due to their negative impact on the environment, the State Environmental Inspection reports on Telegram.

The message emphasized that during this time, eco-inspectors conducted 52 environmental protection measures and drew up 96 protocols on administrative offenses.

The press service noted that during the week they also calculated 818 thousand hryvnias of damage to the environment.

"It is worth noting that in order to stop the negative impact on the surrounding natural environment during the implementation of production activities, according to the lawsuits of the Inspectorates of the Polissky and Prydniprovsky Districts, the court decisions limited (suspended) the activities of two economic entities," the message says.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wsrote, that the eco-inspectors for 11 months of 2022 calculated more than 1.53 billion hryvnias of damage to the environment caused by violators of environmental legislation. That is, environmental violators caused more than 4.5 million damage to nature every day UAH.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, in Ukraine during the fire hazard period of 2022 880,000 paly of dry vegetation were fined UAH.
