"This will be the first such large-scale and systematic project of transition of the city's utility sector to renewable energy sources in Ukraine," the report emphasized.

The press service said that Helion Energy has already delivered the first batch of panels – 8 pallets weighing 5,885 kg.

As you know, this is the third transfer of solar panels from this donor. Thus, in November, Chortkiv received 700 panels for communal institutions from Helion Energy. The company also handed over 56 21 kW solar panels, which were installed on the roof of the dental clinic in April. In half a year of operation, the power plant saved the hospital more than 115 thousand hryvnias.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Ivano-Frankivsk Region, in the Dolyna Territorial Community, Vodokanal was equipped with 140 kW solar panels. During the two months of operation of the SPP, carbon emissions were reduced by 3.17 tons.
