Thanks to the eco-farm, 50 new jobs will be created

A modern eco-farm with solar panels and a biogas plant for the processing of organic waste will be built in the village of Mali Krushlyntsi in the Vinnytsia community.

The deputies of the city council approved the detailed additional conditions of partnership, the Vinnytsia City Council reports on Facebook.

"This is in line with the European Green Course we have adopted. Thank you to the socially responsible business for constructive cooperation. The main thing is that it is aimed at the development of the community and support of our people," said Mayor Serhiy Morgunov.

The press service said that they plan to implement this project within three years from the date of signing the land lease agreement and the socio-economic partnership agreement. Thanks to the eco-farm, 50 new jobs will appear, 20% of which will be for combatants.

It is noted that at the session, the deputies also approved detailed additional conditions for the territories near the ponds in the villages of Shchitki and Markivka. It is planned to create conditions for recreation and health of local residents at the reservoirs.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Vinnytsia enterprises have installed more than 10 MW of solar power plants for their own needs, which provided green energy for about 10% of consumption.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, in January 2022 the Vinnytsia urban territorial community was the first in Ukraine to declare a Green Course within the framework of the European Green Course.
