Vapes can be brought to 10 reception points

Vinnytsia has started accepting used e-cigarettes (vapes or "disposables") from citizens to make power banks for the military from their batteries.

They can be brought to all Eco-Service collection points, according to their Facebook page.

As you know, thanks to this initiative, e-waste will get a second life and will not end up in a common landfill where it will poison the environment.

The addresses of the collection points for "disposables":

  • St. Kyivska, 169 – Memorial Liberation stop;
  • St. Kyivska, 78 – behind the gas station "WOG";
  • St. Internationalist Warriors, 4b – opposite the "Mayak" water park and the "WOG" gas station;
  • St. Pyrogova, 49 – "Urozhai" market, entrance from the street. Skaletskyi;
  • Khmelnytske Shosse, 79 – in the yard of the building behind the "Lisopark" market;
  • ave. Kosmonavtiv, 20 in the yard of the building behind the "Ukrainochka" store;
  • St. Soborna, 83 – entrance through the arch into the yard;
  • Magistratska, 76 – behind the "Cardinal" hotel;
  • St. 600th anniversary, 60 – for the dental clinic "Prior";
  • St. Levka Lukyanenko, 19 – TM ECO-SERVICE base.

It is worth noting that EcoPolitic does not collect "one-time" items, but only informs about such initiatives.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Lutsk, the "Clean Lutsk" waste management center has started accepting used electronic cigarettes, the batteries of which are used for the production of power banks and lanterns for the military.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, in Vinnytsia they began accepting disposable paper cups for recycling, which could not be recycled for a long time. They are accepted for 0.5 hryvnias per kilogram.
