Due to the full-scale war, more than 30% of specialists left Ukraine or left the profession

The President of the Association of Environmental Professionals (PAEW) Lyudmila Tsyganok said that all green transformation strategies are meaningless if they are not implemented and if they are not supported by roadmaps, human resource and technology.

After all, vit is on the threshold phase crisis, similar to the medical crisis from the Covid-19 pandemic, she wrote on her page on Facebook according to the preliminary results of the conference Ukraine Green Recovery in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Gypsy girl emphasized that Ukraine today has a great need for constant training of specialists of a new generation – specialists in green transformation. After all, due to the full-scale war, more than 30% of highly qualified and trained specialists left Ukraine or left the profession.

"The world is changing very quickly, challenges are taking forms never seen before. The training of specialists in green restoration, eco-transformation, and decarbonization requires non-trivial approaches, constant exchange of experience and continuous training," she emphasized.

Tsyganok noted that all green reconstruction strategies must be synchronized with urgent specific actions and measures for training specialists to implement the outlined tasks.

She added that PAEW conducts specialist training on a regular basis, facilitates the exchange of experiences, and explores needs and offers sustainable solutions.

"Preserving personnel, scientific, and innovative potential is our daily task," Tsyganok emphasized. – PAEW in Vilnius, because ensuring the institutional capacity to implement all ambitious tasks of Ukraine is quite a challenge today."
