So far, 160 applications have been submitted, including 53 from Ukraine

The British government has allocated 10 million pounds (about $12.67 million) to finance the best innovative projects for Ukrainian green energy.

The grant competition Innovate Ukraine Competition is simultaneously aimed at the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine and the development of innovations in green energy, reports European Truth.

The message emphasized that the grants will be aimed at supporting businesses in the development of highly innovative technologies of sustainable development for the energy industry and business models that will contribute to the restoration of the Ukrainian energy system.

The website of the initiative states that the competition is open to participants from both Great Britain and other countries. In addition, potential participants can participate in webinars and remote meetings to discuss the opportunities offered by the competition. To do this, you need to register on the website.

So far, 160 applications have been submitted, of which 101 are from Great Britain and 53 are from Ukraine.

Applications for participation can be submitted until September 8, 2023.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that Ukrainians will be able to take part in the competition for ecological business solutions ClimateLaunchpad. The winners will receive €10,000 and training in the accelerator.

As previously reported by EcoPolitics, the European Commission has opened the call for applications for participation in the Interreg NEXT Poland-Ukraine Program in the direction of "Environment". The total funding of the Program amounts to €56.2 million.
