Krugle Lake was also cleared of garbage

In Kyiv, utility workers removed a concrete structure measuring about 850 meters from the territory of the Youth Beach.

The structure on the municipal beach was installed illegally, the utility company Pleso reports on Facebook.

In the message, it was emphasized that the cleaning of the coastal territory from illegal capital structures is one of the priority directions of the enterprise. This will improve the condition of city beaches and recreation areas, free their territories from illegal and sometimes dangerous constructions.

Benches were also installed on the beach and the sand was cleaned.

It is noted that the utility workers worked together with the department of urban improvement of the KMDA.

In addition, in Kyiv, Krugle Lake, located in the Desnyan district, was cleared of garbage. A spontaneous landfill of household and other waste, including plastic bottles, boxes, concrete blocks, bags, etc., was formed near the lake. Also, the reservoir was cleaned of algae, plants and branches.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Kyiv, in the Poznyaki microdistrict, cafe owners without permission built an institution near the lake Silver Keel on a plot worth 20 million hryvnias.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, utility workers collected dozens of bags in Kyiv garbage on Zhukov Island, landscape reserve of local importance in the Holosiivka district. The protected water bodies adjacent to the island were also cleared of garbage.
