In the de-occupied Kherson region, specialists of the company "DTEK VDE" restored the operation of the Trifonivska solar power plant by 50%.

Currently, the SPP can generate 5 MW from its installed capacity of 10 MW, DTEK reports on Telegram.

It is noted that the station currently has network restrictions on the output of 2 MW. This is due to the need to complete repair works at the Khersonoblenergo substation.

"DTEK specialists offered their help to speed up this process. We continue to work on the restoration of the solar power plant," the press service of DTEK emphasized.

Trifonivska SES was occupied by the Russian army from March to October, i.e. 7 months. During this time, it was repeatedly shelled with cluster shells. At the solar power plant, a transformer, a large number of inverters and about 20% of the photovoltaic panels were damaged.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in January, DTEK began to restore the operation of the Trifonivska solar power plant. By that time, it had already started working at 15% of its installed capacity and providing energy to the residents of the region.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, in the Belozersky district of the Kherson region, during the retreat, Russian troops mined the solar power plant of the Rengy company, which before the full-scale war was an important element of the community's energy security.
