Biogas electricity producers will receive 40% of the weighted average feed-in tariff for 2021

State Enterprise "Guaranteed Buyer" during martial law will distribute among the producers of clean electricity at the "green tariff" all the funds received from its sale.

This is stated in the order of the Ministry of Energy No. 206, which establishes the procedure for distributing funds for producers in accordance with the indicators, reports Ministry of Energy.

Thus, producers of solar and wind electricity will receive an amount equal to 18% of the weighted average feed-in tariff for 2021 (previously - 15% for solar and 16% for wind generation).

Hydropower producers will receive 35%, from biomass - 75% (previously - 60%), and from biogas - 40% of the weighted average feed-in tariff for 2021.

The material explained that if there is a balance on the current account, after the preliminary distribution indicators are met, they will be distributed and sent to producers in proportion to the amount of accruals, taking into account the same indicators.

"But not more than the cost of marketable products of the billing period, calculated according to the "green" tariff for such a producer," the Ministry of Energy explained.

Recall in Ukraine, about 40% of the installed RES capacity is occupied or affected by hostilities, while the rest is on the verge of bankruptcy.

As EcoPolicy reported earlier, Ukrainian operators of RES stations will be able to enter the European market .
