Kharkiv residents, together with rescued animals, found a temporary shelter in the Cherkasy region

Kharkiv animal rights activists Tetyana and Andrii, fleeing the war, saved all the inhabitants of their home private shelter, and these are more than 70 cats, a dog and a guinea pig.

The temporary shelter of the spouses of Kharkiv residents was found in the Cherkasy region, the story says TSN.

The decision to leave their hometown for Tatyana and Andrey was not easy. After all, despite the constant shelling of the Russians, they helped animals and people: with medicines and food. The evacuation was decided only in mid-April. When the Russians were already beating very close to their home.

The couple, who started caring for the animals in 2014, took them out of the shelling in a minibus. Leaving someone behind was out of the question. In addition, in addition to cats, they took a few more dogs and Pulka the guinea pig. They stumbled upon her in a Kharkiv basement.

Kharkiv residents, together with the rescued animals, found a temporary shelter in Cherkasy region – in Yuriy's eco-estate. He is engaged in green tourism.

Currently, there are 53 animals. Some cats were recently transported to Europe – to new families. Now they are looking for a home for the rest of the wards. The couple believe that there will be people who will love these fluffies as much as they do. Although, they admit, they are still not ready to say goodbye to several cats – they will leave it for themselves.

Before EcoPolitics wrote that animal rights activists for the humanist movement UAnimals evacuated from Kharkiv "Feldman Ecopark" three more lions.
