A new school exam will be introduced in the kingdom from 2025

From 2025, the UK Department of Education plans to introduce a school exam in an academic discipline that combines natural science, ecology and climatology.

This publication reports The Guardian.

UK school graduates are expected to write papers on climate science topics for their GCSE.

According to the Ministry of Education of the country, the course will help schoolchildren understand the issues of environmental sustainability, nature conservation, evolution of species and anthropogenic impact on the planet.

"Sustainability and climate change are the biggest problems of mankind," said the Kingdom's Minister of Education, Nadhim Zahawi.

The methodology for testing school knowledge is being developed by the examination boards of Oxford and Cambridge, as well as bodies in the field of education and science.

Recall that remote climate school launched in Ukraine for students in grades 3-5 and their teachers. The goal of the course is to involve children and adults in saving the planet and the environment through daily balanced household actions.
