The Verkhovna Rada's EcoCommittee agenda for August 11

People's deputies will consider the letter regarding the statement of the environmental committee about the inadmissibility of activities on the russian federation territory of international environmental certification systems

On Thursday, August 11, a meeting of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Environmental Policy and Nature Management will be held via video conference.

Deputies will consider it in the second reading draft law No. 6477 on the National Register of emissions and transfer of pollutants in respect of which the Committee is determined to be the main one.

In addition, in the presence of the opinion of the committee the ecocommittee will also consider issues of Ukraine's integration into the EU draft law No. 7581 on the improvement of the system of emergency assistance to the population under the single telephone number 112 regarding which The committee is also designated as the main one.

The committee should submit its proposals to the following draft laws:

  • draft law No. 7532 regarding the improvement of the legal regulation of the performance of notarial and registration actions when acquiring rights to land plots;
  • draft law No. 7577 regarding the improvement of the management system of engineering infrastructure facilities of state-owned reclamation systems;
  • draft law No. 7616 regarding the improvement of state regulation in the field of fisheries, preservation and rational use of aquatic biological resources and the field of aquaculture;
  • draft law No. 7621 on amending Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine "On Critical Infrastructure" regarding household waste management.

The eco-committee will also consider letter from People's Deputy, head of the subcommittee on forest resources, objects of animal and plant life, natural landscapes and objects of the nature reserve fund Yulia Ovchinnikova regarding the official statement of the ecocommittee on imposing sanctions on the import of russian wood and its products, fish and seafood, as well as the inadmissibility of international environmental certification systems on the territory of the russian federation.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that the Cabinet of Ministers made changes to four normative acts regulating the use of subsoil in Ukraine.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, the Ministry of Energy initiated a draft law on supporting the production of green electricity by generating plants of consumers, which provides replacing the green tariff with a new model Net billing support.
