In Ukraine, 18 kindergartens will be equipped with solar systems for an uninterrupted supply of hot water as part of the "Solar Energy for Children" competition.

This will help create comfortable conditions for children and save money on utility bills, the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving reports on Facebook.

It is noted that a territorial community can submit an application for participation in the competition until November 12 only for one kindergarten. The facility must be located more than 60 km from the front line on the date of application.

The press service explained that the participant of the competition must present a proposal that will determine the goal, methods of implementation, as well as an approximate calculation of the expected energy saving effect. You can send the completed form application to the e-mail address prog2011@ukr.net (in the subject of the letter, indicate "Solar energy for children").

The message said that the project is being implemented with the support of GIZ and Ukrsvitloleasing JSC.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that a grant competition for industrial and war-affected enterprises has been launched in Ukraine, the winners of which will receive €10,000 to improve energy efficiency.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, Ukrainians will be able to restore housing, damaged as a result of the war, under the state program "VidnovyDIM" of the Energy Efficiency Fund.
