The program provides grants on a free and non-refundable basis - 100% of the cost of works and materials for the restoration of buildings damaged as a result of the war

In the city of Irpin, Kyiv Region, within the framework of the state program "VidnovyDIM", the first four houses for which condominiums applied were restored.

This is stated on the website of the Energy Efficiency Fund.

Condominiums in "Zatyshny 2020" and "Novo-oskolskiy" residential complexes submitted applications back in November. Thus, both houses were completely restored in 2 months. Residents have already returned to their homes. It is noted that the pilot stage of the "VidnovyDIM" program is implemented in the territory of four regions — Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv and Sumy.

"Applications for participation have already been submitted by 58 associations of co-owners of apartment buildings. The expected amount of grants for them is more than 127 million hryvnias. In total, the European Union has allocated 5 million euros for the implementation of the pilot stage. The experience of the first restored buildings proves the effectiveness of the chosen approach — grants are paid quickly and cover 100% of the necessary costs. The war destroyed the homes of millions of Ukrainians, and among the urgent tasks of the Fund is to provide them with the opportunity to return home to safe housing. We plan to expand the program to other regions, because there are many requests from condominiums that have also suffered from Russian aggression", — commented the director of the Energy Efficiency Fund Yehor Fareniuk.

As a result of the war, the facade and thermal insulation of the walls of the "Novo-Oskolskyi" residential complex were damaged, the window and door frames were deformed, the interior partitions and the staircase were partially destroyed. One condominium building will receive a grant in the amount of 5.4 million hryvnias, the second — 1.6 million hryvnias. So far, the first part of the grant has been remitted — 70%. In the buildings, facades were repaired, destroyed engineering systems were restored, window and balcony door blocks, external and internal vestibule doors were replaced.

The six-story buildings of the "Zatyshny" residential complex suffered significant damage — destruction and cracking of the thermal insulation of the external walls, individual window and door frames, double-glazed windows, holes and cracks in the plaster. One building will receive a grant in the amount of 2 million 425 thousand hryvnias, the second — 3 million 93 thousand hryvnias for the elimination of these destructions. So far, the first part of the grant has been remitted — 70%.

Reference: the "VidnovyDIM" program provides grants on a free and non-refundable basis — 100% of the cost of works and materials for the restoration of buildings damaged as a result of the war. A simple and effective implementation mechanism allows you to organize the process as quickly as possible: the condominium receives 70% of the amount in advance (review of the application — 15 days) and performs the necessary work, after completion of which (review of the application — 15 days) 30% is refinanced. The Energy Efficiency Fund Program is implemented jointly with the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

Do you live in Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv or Sumy regions? Was your house, in which a condominium was created, damaged as a result of military operations?
