The development of the second Nationally Determined Contribution of our country is still ongoing

The Regional Forum of the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) 3.0 for Eastern Europe and Central Asia was held in Turkey, which was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine.

  • long-term goals and programs;
  • the principles of fair transition;

In particular, they discussed options for finding and effectively using available technologies and financial opportunities for the implementation of NDC, strengthening adaptation and mitigation processes in agriculture.

A separate topic for discussion at the forum was the process of monitoring the implementation of the NDC. Participants exchanged views on the role of monitoring systems, reporting, verification, submission of mandatory biennial transparency report and monitoring of gender equality processes.
