The full functionality of the electronic office will be available after the end of martial law

In Ukraine, entrepreneurs will be able to issue special permits for subsoil use online, in the subsoil user's electronic account on the EcoSystem platform.

This will help speed up the process and reduce the number of document returns due to technical errors, the Ministry of Environment reports on Facebook.

In the message, it was noted that from now on, you can submit applications and packages of documents to "EkoSystem" for:

  • obtaining or reissuing special permits for subsoil use;
  • extension of their validity period;
  • making changes or expanding borders;
  • receiving a proposal from the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources regarding the possibility of subsoil use and approval from local self-government bodies.

"One of our main tasks today is to ensure free, transparent access to the subsoil. This is important for the country's defense capability and economic recovery. We understand that we have to create conditions so that business can work, invest and implement new projects. At the same time, we must take care of balance, i.e. compliance with environmental priorities. And digitization plays an important role in these issues," commented the head of the Ministry of Environment, Ruslan Strilets.

The message emphasized that the functionality of the e-cabinet involves the use of a GIS system. This will help to check the outline of each application online for intersections with:

  • valid special permits;
  • other statements;
  • objects of the nature reserve fund;
  • State Land Cadastre of Ukraine and water bodies.

The press service emphasized that this will also contribute to reducing the number of returns of documents due to the presence of intersections and provide information about land plots that fall within the boundaries of the application contour.

However, for reasons of national security, the full functionality of the electronic cabinet will be available after the end of martial law in Ukraine.

The authors noted that work is currently underway to transfer online services for submitting applications and documents for state registration of works and research related to the geological study of the subsoil (form 3-GR) and annual reporting on the balance of mineral reserves (forms 5- GR, 6-GR, 7-GR). They will also become available in "EkoSystem".

As EcoPolitic previously reported, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved an experimental project on obtaining certificates on determination of values of background concentrations of pollutants in atmospheric air online through the EcoSystem platform.
