In Venezuela, a fire broke out for the third time in a year at one of the country's most important oil facilities in Cardona.
Local residents shared a video on social networks showing how the oil refinery tower is burning, and the flames are spreading to infrastructure facilities, reports Tasnim News Agency.
It is noted that the cause of the fire is currently unknown, and the Venezuelan authorities have not made any statements. The Venezuela Petroleum fire department is trying to contain the fire.
The article emphasized that the fire broke out at the oil refinery in Cardona of the Paraguana oil refinery complex in Falcon state.
"In 2022, three fires were registered in Kardon. The first occurred in May of last year, the second occurred in October in the oil basin, and this one occurred on December 26, which, according to experts, was larger in scale," the authors emphasized.
The video of the fire was published in the Telegram channel of the "Mirror of the Week" publication.
