An additional amount is required to feed these animals

The zoo in city of Rivne will receive 500 thousand hryvnias from the city budget, in particular for the purchase of food for animals, because it accepted it more than 50 "immigrants".

This decision was taken at the meeting of the executive committee of the Rivne City Council, according to the story of TVRivne1.

The zoo unexpectedly accepted a large number of animals from Kharkiv, Mykolaiv and zoos of other cities, which are currently in the zone of active hostilities.

"Our zoo has taken in a large number of animals," said the mayor of Rivne, Oleksandr Tretyak. – An additional sum of 500,000 hryvnias is required for feeding these animals. Actually, changes were made to the program, and there was a proposal to include such funds to support the zoo."

These funds will also go to the needs of "local residents" of the zoo.
