In Germany, the Ministry of Economy and Climate has unveiled a plan to save the country more energy and increase energy efficiency.

The "work plan" offers a list of measures, including financial incentives, targeted support and adjustment of the regulatory framework, according to Clean Energy Sincerely.

The article noted that such measures are especially relevant against the background of the impact of the war in Ukraine on imports of Russian fossil fuels.

"Now we are doing our best to become less dependent on Russian energy. No matter how important it is to find alternative sources of gas supply in the short term and build infrastructure for it, the cheapest and most effective contribution to greater independence is to reduce energy consumption," said Economy Minister Robert Habek.

The plan includes funding and incentives to promote more energy-efficient heating and construction standards, as well as ending subsidies for gas heating and construction projects that do not meet the new Efficiency House 40 standard.

The greatest potential for energy savings and greenhouse gas emissions reconstruction of houses with the lowest energy characteristics has gases.

Although the construction sector has been slowly reducing its carbon footprint in recent years, a significant increase in energy costs, according to a new report, has led to the refurbishment of existing homes to improve energy efficiency more cost effective than ever.

"In addition, solar roofs should become the standard to quickly increase the production of renewable energy," writes Clean Energy Wire.

We will remind, The European Economic and Social Committee said energy-efficient homes would help to overcome energy poverty.

As EcoPoliticа reported earlier, іn USA government buildings will be changing by green technology.
